  20. I really like this book because even though his family was so poor Louis always found a way to make money.But I really hate that his father just left him right when he had another baby . But I bet his father regrets that because now his son is the best cornet player ever . Alexus Norris

    i absolutely loved how the horn as telling the story. i thought the book was good not like i would want to read it again but i liked it. i think it was interesting and a sad book kind of at the same time! ***

  42. Play Louis Play is about a boy living in New Orleans with not alot of mooney or food. He used to live with grandma because his mom Mayann didn't have enough money for Louis to live with her. But one day Mayann got very sick and Mayann said "I need Louis". she needed him to make food and do chores. when she got better Louis started playing his horn with bands and became the world's best horn player.this is the best book ever.****
